Blogging can be significant for your business for many reasons. Whether you are just starting out or you’ve been working in your business for many years. Really.
It’s not wasted time, it’s not something only big businesses or influencers have. It can help drive traffic and create valuable trust for your brand. It’s also super helpful to have content to share! Like what I am doing here today. Is Blogging Really Important For My Business?
>>> If you haven’t invested in your blog yet read on to find out 7 reasons why you’ll want to start!
1. Drive Traffic - A lead reason blogging is helpful for businesses is the traffic it can drive to your website - or other location. Sharing your content and posting it in a variety of places with a link to your website will encourage your customer base to follow over to your site. It’s really that simple. Writing content your clients are interested in will lead people over to learn more. It happened to me on LinkedIn just last week and the info could change our life! 2. Sharing On Social Media - People want to hear from you and build trust with you. Sharing content from other people is valuable, but there is nothing more helpful than sharing your own info. And, sharing info from your own website builds a link between someone they have seen to someone they can develop a relationship with. Posting your content on your social media will also allow for constructive engagement. 3. Convert - Speaking to your client base and encouraging them to act can convert passive followers into supporters and believers. Remember, it’s important to speak to the client and not to your peers. 4. Authority - As you build on your marketing with positive valuable content you will reach your target market on their level. Continue to do this and your brand and you will be noticed as an expert. It often doesn’t happen overnight, so developing a consistent approach is essential. 5. Online Search - The more content you post on your website the more search engines will also believe you are an authority. Search engines like the consistent website activity - it signals your site as an accomplished business. One that should show up during a search. 6. Answer Questions - Blogging is the perfect place to answer common questions (or even not-so-common) your clients have asked in the past. Again, it can be shared around, which will develop proof of your expertise, and drive traffic. 7. Important Topics - There are many events, projects, and changes to announce that will make great blogging content for your business. Sharing this content on your website will create a well-rounded strategy that will attract and captivate customers. Expanding your blog content to include personal and background content can help connect clients with you and help them relate quicker. Should My Business Have A Blog?
